A New Direction
In Spring 2020, Mental Fitness restructured its initiatives to provide simple and effective ways for teachers, coaches and other group leaders to incorporate our newly designed Mindset Activities into existing community programs. The new model includes additional activities that are easily accessible and offer flexibility for the end user to adjust each skill as needed based on his or her personal circumstances.
The Building Blocks of Mental Fitness represent mindset development skills that improve an individual’s ability to cope with stress, to make healthy choices, and to develop and maintain positive relationships. There are five short-term and five long-term coping skills incorporated into the Mental Fitness model.
