With each NOURISH Arts Park, we travel one step further towards our goal of delivering primary prevention programs to all families - utilizing creative, performing arts, and mindfulness techniques. In this way, we can eliminate the norm of unhealthy coping skills while helping all children build overall health and resilience.
Mental Fitness has collaborated with Girls on the Run, YMCA and Girl Scouts to provide its Nourish Arts Park as a complement to various other programming.
The Arts Park activities use creative arts and mindfulness techniques to increase resilience; including building self-esteem, healthy coping and stress-management skills in kids of all ages. The entire family can learn about resiliency while having tons of fun! Families, school groups, community clubs and student organizations from high school and colleges can all participate in the event.
